KUWAIT AND PAKISTAN TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL TIES

Kuwait and Pakistan are ready to enhance cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, gas, energy, investment, agriculture, information technology and health.

 The decision was made during a visit to Islamabad by a Kuwaiti delegation led by Assistant Foreign Minister Ali Sulaiman Al Sayyid.During the visit, the Kuwaiti envoy met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Qureshi in Islamabad, the Pakistan Foreign Office said.Qureshi reaffirmed Pakistan's desire to strengthen ties. He emphasized the need to deepen and diversify bilateral cooperation.He also stressed the importance of making more concrete relations between  the two countries, especially in the areas of trade, investment, manpower, exports and food security.During the meeting, the two countries expressed satisfaction over the mutual cooperation between the  countries in International Organisations .  The Kuwaiti delegation also visited the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
