Kuwait City : According to reports, the Ministry of Health is planning to postpone the second dose of the Oxford vaccine to three months for those who receive the first dose. Those who received the first Pfizer dose will receive the second after a period of 21 to 28 days without delay.Health officials said the new decision was in addition to medical studies confirming that delaying the second dose increases the effectiveness of vaccines.Appointments allowed to receive the second dose of the Oxford vaccine may occur again after 12 weeks from the time of receiving the first dose and may not be later than 4 weeks as previously reported.
