TAX AGAIN ON FOREIGN TRANSACTIONS

Kuwait City :The government is ready to tax foreign currency transactions again.The Parliamentary Legislative Committee has decided to impose a tax on transactions made abroad from Kuwait. Citizens are exempt from this decision, which targets expats. Earlier, the cabinet had strongly rejected the decision, but said the tax rate should not be the same for all transactions, but should exclude citizens, students and domestic workers.
