CANCER DUE TO ALCOHOL, KUWAIT HAS THE LOWEST IN THE WORLD

Kuwait City: Alcohol use is responsible for about 4% of cancer cases worldwide. The figures were released by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.


Mongolia has one of the highest rates of alcohol-related cancer. However, the lowest percentage in this regard is in Kuwait. Dangerous and excessive alcohol use causes cancer in 86% of cases.

Consumption of more than two pegs of alcohol per day can be considered excessive drinking. And moderate alcohol consumption affects at least one in seven people who get cancer from alcohol. According to the report, more than 100,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer by 2020.
