KUWAIT CANCELS 61,975 WORK PERMITS IN SIX MONTHS

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower has announced that 61,975 work permits have been revoked in Kuwait in six months. A statistic from the Authority between January 10 and June 30 found that 38,873 work permits were lost to non-residents due to non-renewal of residency.


The authority said 2,011 expatriates had their work permits revoked due to their desire to leave the country. Cancellation of work permits includes death, non-renewal of residence abroad, return to home, transfer to family visa - domestic worker.
