DECREASE IN INSURANCE PREMIUM COLLECTION FROM EXPATRIATES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Finance has estimated that 87.1 million dinars will be charged from expatriates for health insurance in the 2020-21 financial year. This is 20.8 per cent less than expected. The health ministry had hoped to raise 110 million dinars. The total levy was 107 million dinars in the 2019-2020 financial year. The crisis caused by the covid epidemic has led to such a decline. Every business sector is experiencing huge financial hardship.
