KUWAITI WOMEN HOLD IMPORTANT POSITIONS IN JUDICIARY

Kuwait City: Three Kuwaiti women today hold important positions in the judiciary. In an unprecedented incident in Kuwait, three women prosecutors were appointed as deputy directors. This is the first time women have qualified for the post after being allowed to apply for a position in the judiciary.


Nouf al-Sayed will be the Deputy Director of Juvenile Prosecution, Muneera Al-Waqan will be the Deputy Director of the Public Prosecution Office of Media, Information and Publication, and Manwa Al-Othman will be the Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs' Prosecution, as recommended by the Public Prosecution.
