LINKS WITH HEZBOLLAH, U.S BANNED NUMBER OF PEOPLE INCLUDING KUWAITIS

Kuwait City: The U.S. has imposed a ban on a number of people, including Kuwaitis, following links to the militant group Lebanese Hezbollah. This was reported by the Al Arabiya channel. 


The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in a statement that it had identified supporters of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force. 

According to the report, they laundered millions of dollars through the local financial system and engaged in currency exchange and gold trading for organizations.
