Kuwait City: Fahad al-Arbash, chairman of the Kuwait Union of Restaurants, said the number of restaurants, cafes and catering establishments in the country exceeded 16,000. Fahad al-Arbash said that as life in the country has returned to normal, restaurants have returned to normal and the number of people coming to dine in hotels has increased. There are about 4,000 restaurants in the country without major restaurant brands. Fahad al-Arbash said the number of restaurants would increase to 6,000 to 7,000 when their branches were added.
