RECOVERY OF KUWAITI'S ECONOMY, CENTRAL BANK OF KUWAIT SUBMITTED REPORT TO CABINET

Kuwait City: The Central Bank of Kuwait has submitted to the Cabinet an analytical and comparative report on the factors required for the recovery of the Kuwaiti economy. The report also outlines Kuwait's position in terms of 'Horizon Global Research Indicators'. 


According to the report, Kuwait ranks 108th globally in terms of its ability to cope with the economic downturn. Saudi Arabia is ranked 92nd and the United Arab Emirates 102nd. 

Kuwait scored 50.65 points on an index of strength and weakness, a key component of the recovery, lower than the national average of 54.98 points in the Middle East and North Africa and 60.28 points below the global average.
