KUWAIT BORROWED 1.3 BILLION DINARS LAST YEAR

Kuwait City: It is estimated that in 2020, Kuwaitis borrowed about 1.3 billion dinars. The figures were released by the Industrial Bank of Kuwait. At the end of last year, the total debt stood at 39.7 billion dinars. There has been an increase of 3.5 per cent. In 2019, it was 38.4 billion dinars. 


According to the Industrial Bank of Kuwait, the real estate sector is the largest lender. 9.22 billion dinars was given to the region. In second place is the trade sector. 3.27 billion dinars has been provided. Third place goes to the industrial sector and fourth to the construction and building sector.
