PUBLIC AUTHORITY OF MANPOWER PROPOSES TO INCREASE RESIDENCE DOCUMENT FEES

Kuwait City:  A local newspaper has reported that PAM has given permission to increase the residence registration fee for foreigners. The new decision is aimed at resolving the imbalance in the private sector labor market and boosting the country's income, officials said. The revised fee will be implemented in the second quarter of 2022. 


Set sector-wise employment quotas for nationals and foreigners, starting with 5 per cent repatriation in the private sector from 2022 to 20 per cent by the end of 2025. Encourage natives in areas where more work skills are needed. Take steps to attract skilled foreign workers. The Public Authority of Manpower has submitted proposals to harness the latest technological possibilities in the digital and cyber space.
