RENEWAL OF RESIDENCY FOR EXPATRIATES OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE, CABINET PROPOSES TO IMPLEMENT FATWA DECISION

Kuwait City: With the approval of the Ministry of Interior, it is not legal to impose fines on those over the age of 60 who attempt to renew their residency temporarily for three months under Article 14, sources said.


However, sources said that the ministry will implement the fatwa and legislation department's decision to renew the residency of expatriates over 60 years of age. 

With the implementation of the Fatwa and Legislation Department's opinion, the decision will be reversed in full, including the renewal of the residency with a fee of 2000 dinars.
