Kuwait City: About 300 workers at a company in the Farwaniya governorate staged a protest. In addition to being unpaid for three months, the workers also protested against the payment of residency renewal fees.

The Farwaniya police station received a report from the Labor Relations Division of the Human Resource Protection Division. Manpower Authority spokesman Aseel al-Masaid said representatives of the labor relations soon arrived at the site of the strike.

The delegates listened in detail to the problems of the workers. She said the authority has initiated procedures to resolve grievances and take legal and administrative action in coordination with the concerned authorities.
