DGCA AWAITS CABINET APPROVAL TO INCREASE AIRPORT CAPACITY IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation is waiting for the Cabinet approval to increase the capacity of the airport. It is expected to increase the capacity to 30,000 and allow 52 airlines to operate. According to DGCA sources, the cabinet has agreed to allow 30,000 passengers per day. 


The number of passengers at Kuwait International Airport varies from season to season. During the winter, the number of passengers decreases from 20,000 to 25,000 per day.
