BOOSTER DOSE MANDATORY FOR ALL IN KUWAIT, MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health is ready to make the booster dose mandatory for the entire population of Kuwait. The new move is aimed at weakening the acquired immunity of those who received the vaccine in the first phase within the next two months. 


Vaccine recipients will be notified via mobile text message in the next few days to receive the third dose.

The Ministry of Health has decided to change the status of the current green color in the Immunity and My Identity apps to Orange for those who do not receive the third dose despite receiving the message.

The third dose is currently only mandatory for the elderly, immunocompromised, and chronically ill patients. Apart from these, the third dose is now mandatory for everyone.
