MINISTRY OF POWER TO SWITCH TO FACE PRINT SYSTEM TO END FINGERPRINT FRAUD IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Power has decided to change the fingerprints of all employees to face detection system. Over the past few years, there have been several scams in the ministry using silicone fingerprints. With this, the ministry decided to switch to the innovative system that comes with face print along with fingerprint. According to sources, the team has collected new fingerprints of 3,000 of the ministry's 21,000 employees.


Sources said that all the extensions and connections required for the installation of 500 devices at the headquarters of the ministry's general office and 170 related centers have been completed. The new equipment costs 340,000 dinars.
