KUWAIT AIRPORT CROWDED, EXPATRIATES WITH HOPE

Kuwait City: The DGCA has announced that 65,759 passengers have boarded the Kuwait International Airport since it became fully operational. The cabinet had yesterday directed the airports to be fully operational and the airlines to conduct service operations. The DGCA has directed all airlines operating to the country to operate in the same manner. 


In five days, 28,228 passengers arrived in the country and 31,516 left. 5015 were transit passengers. During this period, 260 aircraft entered the country and 261 departed. The airport is expected to be busier in the coming days as more airlines operate services. Officials said they would continue to travel to and from the country as the Kovid vigilance instructions of the health department were in place.
