NEW VISAS WILL BE ISSUED IN KUWAIT FROM NEXT TUESDAY

Kuwait City: New visas will be issued in Kuwait from next Tuesday. Report that services for issuing new work permits will be activated through the Public Authority for Manpower's "Ashal" portal and the Ministry of Health for Vaccination Certificates - therefore, employers are required to submit the required data electronically. 


As part of the implementation of the cabinet decision to re-issue new visas and work permits, the system for accepting applications for new work permits will be announced from next Tuesday, a local newspaper reported. 

The Council of Ministers called on the Manpower Authority to coordinate with the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs on opening the door to new visas and work permits and ensuring the validity of vaccination certificates for workers recruited electronically. 

Meetings between the relevant authorities continue to finalize the necessary arrangements for new permits, while the issuance of work permits is restricted to pre-approved categories.
