COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS OF INTERNATIONAL BRANDS AND THOUSANDS OF PRODUCTS SEIZED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Thousands of counterfeit products were seized in a raid conducted by the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Division of the Ministry of Commerce. The search, which was conducted with the intention of seizing the products with counterfeit trademarks, yielded so many counterfeit products from three stores.


32,000 fake watches were found in the first store. Also seized were 2,000 different accessories. A thousand bags, shawls, 12 shoes and 25 necklaces used by women were found in the second store. The third store was a printing press that printed trademarks on bags and boxes. The emergency team seized all the counterfeit products and took action against the culprits.
