Flights at Kuwait International Airport are expected to resume as usual

KUWAIT CITY :
In light of the global spread of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, Director of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Youssef Al-Fawzan confirmed that flights at Kuwait International Airport are operating normally, adding that globally enforced health regulations are strictly followed here to combat the epidemic.

Al-Fawzan told  that the DGCA has not received any new information concerning Omicron spreading in other nations.
He also verified that the winter travel schedule has been completed, emphasising that there are no restrictions on going to and from other countries, with the exception of those affected by the commercial travel ban imposed following the spread of the new strain.
He said that all other nations are currently putting health criteria on tourists from the prohibited countries, and that such measures are expected to continue.
