Algeria won the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup after scoring two goals in extra time to defeat Tunisia 2-0.
Algeria won the title on Saturday with goals from Amir Sayoud in the ninth minute of extra time and Yacine Brahimi with the game's final kick at the Al-Bayt stadium in Al Khor city.

It added the Arab title to Algeria's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations championship, which they will defend in Cameroon next month.

Sayoud, 31, made his international debut in Algeria's first game of the tournament, but did not play again until the final, when he came on just after the hour mark.

Sayoud became an immediate national hero after his thunderous 99th-minute goal.
