Compliance with COVID decisions is strongly encouraged

KUWAIT CITY: Sheikh Dr. Bassel Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Minister of Health, emphasised the importance of adhering to Cabinet decisions on health guidelines in order to maintain epidemiological stability in the country.

Dr. Bassel told KUNA and Kuwait TV on Monday, following the Cabinet's extraordinary meeting, that the health situation is stable, thanks to Allah, but that we must maintain it.

The Omicron variant has spread rapidly in many countries around the world, and it is expected to be dominant within two months, according to him.
As a result, he noted, Cabinet decisions must be implemented and supported in order to maintain the State's good results.

The minister stated that the decisions are in the public interest and will help to keep the epidemiological situation in Kuwait stable.
