5,23,000 PEOPLE RECEIVED BOOSTER DOSE IN KUWAIT AS OF NOON TODAY

Kuwait City: According to the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health, the number of citizens and residents who received the third booster dose of the vaccine against "Covid-19" has reached 523,000 by 2 pm today. The ministry had earlier registered for vaccination of persons below 50 years of age due to overcrowding. 


The first dose of the vaccine was 3343577 doses at a rate of 85.2%, while the number of those who received the full immunization with two doses reached 8227% at 3227678 doses, according to the ministry's website.

The Ministry has confirmed that the various centers are continuing their work in the field of immunization, especially as the new mutant "Omicron" continues to spread.
