QUARANTINE PERIOD IN KUWAIT, HEALTH DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS UNDER CONSIDERATION

Kuwait City: There has been a huge increase in Covid cases in the country. Meanwhile, government sources said that discussions were underway to reduce the quarantine period of Covid victims and those who came in contact with them. The Department of Health has submitted recommendations to the Cabinet regarding quarantine. 


There are reports that the quarantine duration may vary between those who receive the vaccine and those who do not. The recommendations have been submitted to the Cabinet on the global observance of the quarantine period. Sources said that either of them will be accepted or approval will be postponed. The quarantine is set at 10 by the Ministry of Health and 14 days by those in contact.
