AUTHORITIES ALLOW UMRAH PILGRIMAGE BY ROAD FROM KUWAIT

Kuwait City: According to the Ministry of Awqaf, the Ministry of Interior has opened the Salmi border crossing for residents to go to and from Kuwait to conduct the Umrah rite, the result of collaborative work between the Ministry and the relevant state authorities.


In compliance with the established health regulations, the Ministry of Awqaf will make the appropriate provisions for the resumption of land excursions. Umrah travelers must be vaccinated. The ministry also directed the pilgrims to disinfect their seats and wear masks before boarding the Umrah vehicle.
