Kuwait City: According to traders in global oil markets, oil producers, and analysts, exports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) 'propane' and 'butane' (LPG) from major Middle Eastern producers are expected to increase by 6.6 percent in 2022, compared to 2021, due to the intensification of competition for the growing Asian markets, despite oversupply from other producers, led by the United States.

Total LPG exports from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iran are predicted to increase from 36.5 million metric tonnes last year to 38.9 million metric tonnes in 2022.
