KUWAIT AIRWAYS SUSPENDS FLIGHTS TO SRILANKA

Kuwait City: Kuwait Airways suspends flights to Sri Lanka. This is due to the failure of the local offices to settle the arrears along with the dollar crisis. Earlier in September, Kuwait Airways cut short operations to Sri Lanka. The activity was reduced to one service a week without giving any official reasons. The service has been suspended for a week now. 


According to sources, the airline's revenue is very low considering the cost of operating a flight to Sri Lanka. At the same time, there are reports that the flight service to Sri Lanka will be suspended and extended. This will seriously affect the travel of workers. Kuwait Airways services are used by thousands of Sri Lankans working in the Middle East and the Gulf countries. Meanwhile, there are reports that another airline is now reviewing its options.
