KUWAIT IS RANKED THIRD ON THE LIST OF "DANGEROUS" COUNTRIES

Kuwait City: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States has published an update to its list of high-risk coronavirus countries. According to the daily, US health officials have encouraged their people to receive a vaccination before travelling to Kuwait, while also advising against travel to Kuwait for those who have not been vaccinated, unless in the case of necessity. The United States has relegated Kuwait to third place in the 'hazardous' category, up from second place prior to the latest update. On the other hand, the US health officials declared 22 countries in the fourth category to be'very risky,' and warned travellers to avoid visiting these countries entirely, including Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Australia. 


The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health reported 4,337 new COVID-19 infections, 4,063 recoveries, and one death in the previous 24 hours on Wednesday. Infections and recoveries were 479,640 and 432,729, respectively, according to the Ministry's official spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al- Sanad, in a statement to KUNA. The number of deaths has risen to 2,480, according to the spokeswoman, who also revealed that there are 43 patients in ICU, 336 in COVID-19 wards, and 44,431 active cases. He stated that swab tests totaled 6,540,444 with 31,175 new tests performed in the last 24 hours.
