INDIAN AMBASSADOR SIBI GEORGE SAYS INTERMEDIARIES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO EXPLOIT NURSES

Kuwait City: Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George has said that the exploitation of intermediaries will not be allowed while recruiting nurses from India. Intermediaries will not be allowed to charge from the salaries paid by the Ministry of Health. Recruitment will be allowed only if the tender documents guarantee the minimum salary to be paid to the nurses. He also demanded that the embassy be notified if any abuses were noticed. 


 He was speaking at the open house of the Indian Embassy. Sibi George called on everyone to adopt the Covid vaccine, including the booster dose, and to strictly adhere to all health precautions. 

At the same time, the Ambassador added that the new Passport Visa Outsourcing Centers provide better consular services to the Indian community. Most of the attestation work has now been shifted to outsourcing centers. He also said that fees for many services have been reduced.
