EXTENSIVE SECURITY INSPECTION, SEVERAL VIOLATIONS FOUND IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City:  The Interior Ministry has arrested several people during a search operation in the Al Rai area. 4 illegal vehicles were seized and 3 expatriates were arrested. Kuwait is conducting extensive searches to find expatriates living in the country in violation of residency laws. Authorities said fines were issued in 780 cases of traffic violations and warning notices were issued to 700 vehicles. 


Authorities say a special team has been set up to target garages and workshops that illegally place loud noises in vehicles. Earlier, power was cut off to 63 garages in the Sulaybia industrial area. Extensive inspections are being carried out in all governorates to find violators. The decision was made to deport those caught and to bear the cost themselves.
