TRAFFIC INSPECTION AT FRIDAY MARKET, VARIOUS VIOLATIONS FOUND IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The General Traffic Department conducted a lightning inspection at the Friday market. During yesterday's campaign, the authorities focused on checking the safety of vehicles. In addition, the traffic department inspected garages and workshops that provide equipment that makes more noise than allowed in vehicles.


Authorities cut off power to 63 garages in Sulaybia Industrial City. The Industry Public Authority along with non-commissioned officers from the traffic department also participated in the inspection campaign. A total of 780 traffic violations were detected. Notices were posted on 700 vehicles that did not comply with the rules. Authorities said three people were arrested for residency violations when four vehicles on the wanted list were seized.
