LIBERATION TOWER IN KUWAIT OPENS FOR FREE TO VISITORS

Kuwait City: The Liberation Tower in Kuwait is ready to receive visitors after a gap of ten years. The decision was made to open the Liberation Tower to tourists as part of the National Day celebrations. Visits are allowed for those who have made advance bookings through the website. The public will have the opportunity to visit the 150th floor of the Liberation Tower from 3 to 8 p.m. Admission will be free. 


The ground floor of the tower will be converted into a museum and the owners of small and medium enterprises in the country will be given an area to display their works and products, officials said. The Liberation Tower in the Capital City is one of the national icons of Kuwait. The 372-meter-high tower is under the Ministry of Telecommunications. Later, when construction was completed in 1993, it was renamed the Liberation Tower to commemorate the liberation.
