Kuwait City: On Thursday, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) met with Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sibi George and his accompanying party to examine ways of cooperating in the recruitment and employment of Indian employees in the country, as well as providing them with legal protection. In a press statement issued on the margins of the meeting, the Authority's Director General, Ahmad Al-Mousa, stated that the labour market in the State of Kuwait draws competent professionals to meet labour needs. Al-Mousa went on to say that the authority is working hard to develop the process of bringing in competent workers to benefit the growth and economic interests of the State of Kuwait. He emphasised the authority's principal duty in providing legal protection and ensuring a suitable work environment that guarantees all workers' rights, including those in the private and domestic sectors.
