FREE RATION FROM MARCH 1 IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, free food supplies would be delivered to front-line personnel from the Ministries of Health and Interior beginning March 1, 2022. The Ministry of Commerce stated in a letter to the Kuwait Catering Company and the Ministry of Social Affairs, "With regard to the system of disbursing free supplies to the front rows, we inform you that it was decided to begin disbursing food supplies as of March 1 according to the standard quantities in force in the current system" (Rice, sugar, lentils, powdered milk, vegetable oil, tomato paste and chicken).


The Ministry of Commerce has provided a thorough table of the number of cards, individuals, and allocations based on data sent by the Ministries of Health and Interior, as well as a list of distribution centres, for both Kuwaitis and residents.
