STRICT TRAFFIC INSPECTION, 2,074 VIOLATIONS FOUND IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The General Traffic Department conducted a rigorous inspection in the Haveli Governorate. The inspection campaign was initiated under the direction of Maj. Gen. Jamal al-Saye, Assistant Under-Secretary, Traffic and Operations, Ministry of Interior. A rigorous inspection by the governorate found 2,074 violations. Sixteen minors were arrested for driving without a driver's license when 18 vehicles were seized. They were referred to the Juvenile Police Department


Brigadier General Mahmoud said field security campaigns had succeeded in eliminating various types of violations that were widespread on public roads. In particular, vehicle safety and juvenile driving have been reduced. He added that those who provide vehicles for juveniles will also have to pay a legal penalty.
