QUERIES BARRAGE ON MINISTER OVER COVID, DETAILS SOUGHT ON VACCINE IMPORTS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: MP Shuaib Al-Muwaizri has sent the following questions to Minister of Health Dr Khalid Al-Saeed on coronavirus:


. If immunisation against the virus is required; 

. If his government requested that the Council of Ministers implement a travel ban on unvaccinated people;

. If the ministry advised any public institution to be unfriendly to unvaccinated people;

. If the vaccines protect users against coronavirus and its variants, and the percentage of protection if the answer is yes;

. If there are no bad side effects from the immunizations;

. If the ministry acquired manufacturers' promise to test the efficacy and safety of the vaccines and if they followed the licencing processes;

. If scientific studies were undertaken to ensure the safety of vaccines;

. If the individuals were informed about the vaccine's components prior to vaccination;

. If the ministry obtains written permission from persons prior to immunisation 

. If the ministry documented cases of negative side effects or deaths caused by immunizations;

. If the ministry is aware that accusations of fraud and bribery have been filed against Pfizer and Moderna in the United States;

. Procedural steps taken in establishing contracts with the two companies;

. Protocol for the treatment of Covid- 19 patients from the beginning of the crisis to the present;

. If the vaccines were supplied directly by the producers or through brokers; From April 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021, there will be 8 Corona patients in hospitals.

. Count of recoveries;

. The number of people infected with corona and its variants among the unvaccinated, as well as those who have received one, two, or three doses;

. The number of people that died as a result of Covid-19, its variations, or the vaccines; 

. If the ministry did research that included statistics;

. If the ministry ensured that there are no bad side effects, including death, from the immunizations.

He quoted a German data study that stated that 95 percent of individuals infected with the virus had been vaccinated, with 28 percent receiving three doses, compared to 4.42 percent among the unvaccinated. He also demanded documents of all contracts signed by the ministry for the import of Covid-19 vaccinations.
