PARLIAMENT APPROVES TO EASE CORONA RESTRICTIONS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: During the two deliberations, the National Assembly voted to change some articles of the Health Precautions Law to prevent communicable diseases, including a fine of 50 dinars for violators of health protocols, as well as giving Ministry of Health staff the authority to arrest violators. 


The National Assembly has also approved parliamentary recommendations for easing corona restrictions for those who have not been vaccinated, which were submitted to the parliament for deliberation after the government's measures to combat the virus were discussed during the current session. Meanwhile, Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim revealed that Minister of Health apologised for missing the session due to an angioplasty, and that "I spoke to him about these proposals and he assured me to take them into consideration," according to Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim.
