NATIONAL HOLIDAYS, AIR FARES HAVE BEEN INCREASED BY 120 PER CENT IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Big increase in air ticket prices to various countries. It is estimated that air fares to some countries have increased by as much as 120 per cent. The increase in air fares comes as citizens are increasingly interested in traveling on national holidays. Travel agencies said there would be a gradual increase in air fares until mid-March. Then the ticket price will go down and return to normal.


Travel office owners say the increase in ticket prices is normal at this time. Due to the supply and demand in the ticket market, reservations have increased significantly, especially in the face of a steady decline in Covid cases. Assurances have been received that the Kuwait International Airport will not be closed again. It is important to ensure that the health procedures at the Kuwait Airport are followed during the journey and return. It is also suggested that precautions be taken in the countries of travel.
