ABU DHABI POLICE RETURN DH 180 LAKH TO VICTIMS OF FINANCIAL FRAUD

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Police has returned 180 lakh dirhams (Rs 36 crore) to the victims of widespread financial fraud, including phone and electronic systems. 


The operation was led by the Abu Dhabi Police's Criminal Security Center. The Criminal Security Center is the center for receiving complaints in such cases. 

Victims of fraud range from individuals to some local banks in the UAE. Police have warned callers not to share information such as OTP numbers, debit and credit card passwords and Emirates IDs in connection with financial transactions. Police awareness campaigns against fraud in various languages ​​are also continuing.
