Kuwait City: The 61st National Day and the 31st Liberation Day of Kuwait are celebrated at Al- Mubarakiya ancient market, which is decorated with Kuwaiti flags and lovely lights. Every year in February, citizens and residents go to the ancient market to celebrate the national days. Kuwaiti state officials and groups have been planning for the national holidays, which will take place on February 25-26. The Kuwait Fire Force announced on Wednesday that it has completed preparations for securing the celebrations, building 14 improvised fire stations across the country for swift action in the event of an unfortunate tragedy. Colonel Mohammad Ibrahim, the force's public relations director, stated in a news release that all of these stations were staffed and equipped to handle any catastrophe.

The force will assist in easing any traffic congestion that may occur during the celebrations and will participate in the activities by displaying its cutting-edge equipment and engines, he said, urging revellers to equip their vehicles with fire extinguishers and refrain from tossing fireworks among the revellers. Earlier today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior issued a decree pardoning police officers who had been detained in disciplinary cases in honour of the impending national holidays.
