SECOND PHASE OF EXEMPTIONS HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR ALL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE FACILITIES IN QATAR

Doha: The PHCC has announced a second phase of exemptions as the number of Covid cases reported daily in the country has come down. Earlier, the health ministry had said that the exemptions would be given in three phases. The second phase of exemptions will come into effect from today. As of today, 75 percent of patients can seek treatment directly at all primary health centers in Qatar. 


This exemption is available for all ailments including Family Medicine, General, Dentistry and other specialized categories. At the same time, the process of facilitating those who want the service online will continue. Drive-through check-in centers will be open at all primary health centers from 4 pm to 11 pm. This service is available 7 days a week. 

On February 1, the first phase of discounts will allow up to 50 percent of patients to receive direct treatment. With the success of this phase, the Ministry of Health has decided to move on to the second phase from today.
