Doha: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has officially announced the Eid al-Adha holidays for banks and financial institutions across the country. According to the directive issued on June 2, 2025, all institutions under the control of the QCB will observe a five-day break from Thursday, June 5 to Monday, June 9. Regular banking operations will resume on Tuesday, June 10.

The QCB also confirmed that financial institutions under the Qatar Financial Markets Authority will follow the same holiday schedule. While physical branches will remain closed during this period, online banking services, ATMs, and other digital platforms will continue to operate normally to ensure uninterrupted service to customers.

Eid al-Adha holidays for public sector employees had been announced earlier. Government departments, ministries, and public institutions in Qatar will also observe the holiday from June 5 to June 9, with work resuming on June 10.

Citizens and residents are advised to complete any urgent financial transactions before the holiday period and stay updated with official announcements for any changes or service updates.
