DETAILS OF KUWAITI NATIONAL TRAPPED IN UKRAINE RELEASED

Kuwait City: Fahad al - Marshad, a Kuwaiti national stranded in Russian-occupied Ukraine, has been contacted and is preparing to fly to Romania, diplomatic sources said. Al-Marshad was flown to Romania with the help of embassy members in Kiev and Bucharest. The sources said that the needs of all citizens will be met to facilitate their return to the country.


Meanwhile, Bidun student Abdullah Mayah has arrived in Romania. A travel document has been handed over to Mayah to allow him to return to the country. Diplomatic sources said that in the wake of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will extend all possible assistance to Kuwaiti nationals abroad and will not compromise on this issue.
