FIGURES OF FRESH WATER WASTED ON NATIONAL HOLIDAYS ARE OUT

Kuwait City: An estimated 15,000 housing units have wasted fresh water that could be used for a full day during national holidays. The Ministry of Power and Water had launched a massive campaign to prevent wastage of water during national holidays. Yet officials are shocked by the loss of so much water. 


However, it is reassuring that there is less waste of fresh water compared to previous years. The ministry had called on citizens and residents to be aware of the importance of clean water and not to waste it during celebrations. The call was to save water and make a difference in the celebrations of previous years.
