EXPATS DEMOGRAPHIC IMBALANCE HAS DEPLETED KUWAIT'S SERVICES AND FACILITIES

Kuwait City: Sheikh Talal Al Khaleed, the Governor of the Capital, conducted a field tour in the Qibla area, resulting in the issuing of warnings to commercial properties whose owners had exploited the building premises by adding additional rooms and toilets to apartments, resulting in overcrowding of labourers to whom they had rented the apartments.


Al Khaled has urged interested parties to construct labour cities as soon as possible, in addition to resolving the demographic imbalance that has overwhelmed and drained governmental facilities and services. He remarked that this programme should be carried out in all governorates of Kuwait in order to eradicate this phenomenon.
