STRICT INSPECTION IN JALIB, 3,083 OFFENDERS ARRESTED

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior's General Administration of Relations and Security Media has announced that intensive security checks are being carried out to detect violations. Strict inspections are being carried out, especially in and around the Jalib al-Shuwaikh area. A special inspection conducted by the Director General of the Farwaniya Security Directorate, Brigadier-General Abdullah Safah Al-Mulla, from October 2021 to the 17th of last month, found a number of violations. 


A total of 4,032 violations were reported. A total of 3,083 people were arrested for various offenses. Extensive arrests were made in 233 cases involving 1025 people whose residency permits had expired, 473 people who were reported to be absconding, 59 people who were involved in drug cases, 645 people who did not have proper records, 10 people who were related to alcohol and 17 people who were involved in gambling. The administration has stated that continuous security checks will continue.
