AIM TO AVOID INFLATION, KUWAIT MINISTRY OF COMMERCE WITH ACTIVE INTERVENTIONS

Kuwait City: Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has said that various teams of the Ministry will continue to monitor the market with the aim of curbing artificial inflation. The Ministry is taking active steps to curb inflation to ensure that the directives of the Cabinet are implemented. The Ministry's supervisory teams continue to operate at full capacity.


In addition, testing campaigns are being carried out in the markets of all the governorates of the country to prevent practices that lead to artificial inflation of product prices. The ministry has warned the owners of various companies, centers and shops against deliberately inflating the prices of goods on special occasions, including during the holy month of Ramadan. It has been made clear that if the law is violated, the shops will be closed immediately and strict action will be taken.
