CONTRACT FOR RECRUITMENT OF NURSES FROM INDIA, PAKISTHAN, AND SUDAN

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has stated that it is not considering any recruitment of nurses from Egypt in the current situation. Ministry sources confirmed that the Ministry of Health is in the process of recruiting local doctors, nurses and technicians directly or recruiting staff from abroad. 


The ministry has in the past signed agreements with a number of countries, including Pakistan, India and Sudan, for appointments in the medical sector. The Ministry of Health had increased the number of employees in the nursing sector in the wake of the Covid epidemic. The number of nursing staff has been increased to 2,000 through direct contracts. About 120 medical professionals from Pakistan will arrive in the country in two weeks, sources said.
