KUWAITIZATION, STRICT INSTRICTIONS ISSUED BY CIVIL SERVICE BUREAU

Kuwait City: The Civil Service Bureau has issued strict instructions to government agencies affiliated to Kuwait in connection with the modernization. It is recommended that Resolution 11 of the Civil Service Council 2017 be strictly adhered to. The Civil Service Bureau has stated that non-Kuwaitis should not be employed in the institution in excess of the percentage allowed in connection with the Kuwaitiisation. Recently, a letter was issued for the appointment of non-Kuwaitis, including the Ministry of Awqaf.


The Civil Service Bureau said any letter requesting a non-Kuwaiti appointment in excess of the percentage specified in the decision was a breach of the decision. The decision was made that all government agencies should implement Kuwaitisation within five years. The allotted time will end this year.
